Lucy
Lawless
Local girl made good, Lucy has had an outstanding year. On top of her role as Xena: Warrior Princess Lucy married the man of her dreams, producer Rob Tappert[sic]. She also went on to win the New Zealand Entertainer of the Year.
But Lucy hasn't forgotten the people who made her a success possible. She waived her fee to appear in the New Zealand feature film I'll Make You Happy because the director, Athina Tsoulis, had given Lucy her first film role in the short file A Bitter Song.
